Dojan, Benner, Wheeler named to Berks girls basketball honor roll

MikeDragoSports.com presents a weekly honor roll of the top Berks girls basketball players each week. Coaches are encouraged to nominate their top player for consideration. One player will be selected Player of the Week.

Addison Benner, Brandywine Heights: The 5-11 freshman earned a spot on the all-tournament team as she helped the unbeaten Bullets to the Brandywine Holiday Tournament title with 19 points, 12 rebounds, six blocks and two steals in wins over Upper Perkiomen and Pequea Valley.

Grace Reedy, Exeter: The sophomore had a game-high 25 points, six steals and six rebounds in a loss to Schuylkill Valley.

Alexis Hess, Fleetwood: The junior scored 10 points against State College and had a career-high 27 points against Bethlehem Catholic at the State College Holiday Hardwood Tournament.

Amelia Gassert, Hamburg: The 5-8 freshman guard averaged nine rebounds, two steals and 4.5 points in her first two starts for the Hawks.

Lilia Pizzelanti, Kutztown: The freshman guard scored 10 points against Audenried and seven points against Executive Education.

Ryanne Wheeler, Oley Valley: The 5-10 sophomore was named to the all-tournament team at the Salisbury Holiday Tournament after scoring 13 points in a loss to Bethlehem Liberty and 19 points in a win over Salisbury.

Jadyn Heck-Hoppes, Schuylkill Valley: The senior guard had had 17 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists in the Panthers’ only game, a 61-52 victory over Exeter.

Isis Dojan, Wilson: The junior center was named tournament MVP after averaging 13 points and eight rebounds as the Bulldogs beat Bishop McDevitt and the host Warriors in the Warwick Holiday Tournament.

Amaya Stewart, Wyomissing: The freshman had 10 points and nine boards in a 51-13 win over Daniel Boone in the Spartans only game of the week.
