Butler surpassed the milestone less than four minutes into the game, hitting a 3-pointer to give Kutztown a 7-2 lead. He hit another 3-pointer later in the half but otherwise struggled from the field. He was good on all four of his free throws.

As a freshman Butler earned All-PSAC East second-team honors and was named Kutztown University’s Male Freshman of the Year.
At Reading High he played on the 2018 District 3 Class 6A championship team and the 2017 PIAA Class 6A championship team. He scored 1,315 points with the Red Knights.
