Koenig, Washington, Dojan top Berks girls basketball honor roll

MikeDragoSports.com presents a weekly honor roll of the top Berks girls basketball players each week. Coaches are encouraged to nominate their top player for consideration. One player will be selected Player of the Week.

Taylor Koenig, Gov. Mifflin: The 5-7 sophomore forward matched her career high with 21 points in a 70-58 win over Brandywine Heights in the BCIAA quarterfinals.

Kelsey Biehn, Oley Valley: The 5-7 senior combined for 35 points, 25 rebounds, nine assists and two steals as the Lynx won two of their three games.

Kya Washington, Reading High: The senior guard scored a game-high 18 points, had eight rebounds and played a key defensive role in a 43-33 win over Schuylkill Valley in the BCIAA quarterfinals.

Madison Ziska, Schuylkill Valley: The 5-8 senior forward scored a game-high 20 points in a 43-41 win over Brandywine Heights and a team-high 11 points in a loss to Reading High in the BCIAA quarterfinals.

Isis Dojan, Wilson: The 6-2 junior scored 14 points in a win over Berks Catholic and had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 42-24 win over Twin Valley in the BCIAA quarterfinals.
