Ziska, Rodriguez, Foster named to Berks girls basketball honor roll

MikeDragoSports.com presents a weekly honor roll of the top Berks girls basketball players each week. Coaches are encouraged to nominate their top player for consideration. One player will be selected Player of the Week.

Yamilex Rodriguez

Addison Benner, Brandywine Heights: The 5-11 freshman had a game-high 10 points in a 40-15 win over Antietam in the Bullets’ lone game last week.

Grace Reedy, Exeter: The sophomore scored a team-high 18 points against Schuylkill Valley.

Katie Behler, Hamburg: The 5-7 junior scored a team-high seven points vs. Hamburg and had seven points against Twin Valley. She is averaging 8.2 points and five rebounds.

Ky Brantley, Kutztown: The 5-6 junior scored a team-high 21 points against Oley Valley in the Cougars’ only game last week.

Morgan Snyder, Oley Valley: The 5-6 sophomore had 20 points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals in a 63-39 win over Kutztown, and 13 points, five assists and seven steals in a 60-20 win over Daniel Boone.

Madison Ziska

Yamilex Rodriguez, Reading High: The freshman guard had six points, four rebounds and four assists against Wilson and 13 points, four rebounds and four assists against Cedar Crest.

Madison Ziska, Schuylkill Valley: The 5-8 senior forward had 13 points in a 43-21 win at Hamburg and 20 points and eight rebounds in a 51-32 win at Exeter.

Alyssa Boyer, Tulpehocken: The 5-8 senior had 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists and drew two charges against Wyomissing.

Natali Foster, Twin Valley: The senior led the Raiders in scoring in each of their wins. She scored a game-high 21 points in a 56-32 win over Exeter and had 17 points in a 45-26 win at Hamburg.

Amiyah Nguyen, Wilson: Scored a game-high 17 points as the Bulldogs beat Reading High 53-38.

Alexis Hardy, Wyomissing: The freshman scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Spartans over Tulpehocken 56-40 in their only game last week.
