Two-time Player of the Year Amaya Stewart leads 2024 All-Berks team (updated with all-division teams)

Just like her Wyomissing team, Amaya Stewart has gone back-to-back – the Spartans as Berks Girls League champs, Stewart as Player of the Year.

Three days after helping the Spartans extend their perfect start to 25-0 Stewart was named the league’s top player by Berks coaches.
Her coach, Aaron Anders, is Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
Stewart is among four repeat picks on the All-Berks team, along with Exeter’s Grace Reedy, Wilson’s Laila Jones and Oley Valley’s Morgan Snyder.
They are joined by first-time picks Madison Langdon of Berks Catholic, Taylor Koenig of Gov. Mifflin and Annie McCaffrey of Wyomissing.
Stewart, a 6-1 junior, led Wyomissing to heights it had never seen as a sophomore and doubled down this season. She averaged 18.9 points per game, No. 2 in the league, and 3.6 points from last season, when she was named to the Class 4A All-State team.
Stewart is a double-double machine. She had 20 points and 14 rebounds – both game-highs – in the BCIAA championship game against Wilson. She also blocked six shots. She had 22 and 12 in the semifinals against Gov. Mifflin.
She has dramatically improved her outside game, hitting a team-high 21 3-pointers after making six last season. She reached the 1,000-point mark in January.
Stewart was an all-division selection as a freshman.
Reedy, a 5-9 senior, leads the league in scoring for the second straight season with a 20.9 scoring average. She led the Eagles to the Berks II title and a second straight league playoff appearance after they qualified just once in the previous eight seasons.
Reedy needs eight points to break the program career scoring record, which she can accomplish at Manheim Central Tuesday in the District 3 Class 5A Tournament.
Reedy was an all-division pick as a freshman and sophomore.
Jones, a 5-7 sophomore, averages 16.3 points and has 48 3-pointers for the Berks I champion Bulldogs. She has 729 career points.
The athletic point guard guided Wilson to a 21-win regular season and a home District 3 Class 6A playoff game Thursday.

Snyder, a 5-6 point guard, is averaging a team-leading 16.2 points. She scored her 1,000th point earlier this month and led the Lynx to their first division title since 2014 and their first Berks playoff appearance since 2019.
The Penn State field hockey recruit was an all-division selection as a sophomore.
Langdon, a 5-4 guard, has the third-highest scoring average in the league at 16.6 and hit 41 3’s as the Saints finished second in Berks I and won their league quarterfinal against Exeter. The junior had 22 points and seven rebounds in the playoff opener. She has helped Berks Catholic qualify for the district tournament for the 13th straight season. She enters the tournament with 837 career points.
Langdon was an all-division choice as a sophomore.
Koenig, a 5-8 forward sharpshooter, leads the league with 65 3-pointers. She is averaging 14.6 points per game and was a key leader for a Mifflin team that started three freshmen and advanced to the BCIAA semifinals.

McCaffrey is a gritty defender, rebounder and experienced competitor who brings toughness and poise to the Spartans. She’s second on the team in rebounds and in scoring at 7.4 per game.
