Players to watch in Division II of the Berks Baseball League in 2022:

Luis Beato, Muhlenberg: Emerged as one of the top hitters in the league as a junior, batting .291 with three homers, 13 extra-base hits and 12 steals. Led team with 25 runs scored in 26 games; drove in 16. Superb center fielder with plus arm earned all-division honors.
Riley Civiello, Conrad Weiser: Outstanding freshman debut, earning all-division honors after batting a team-leading .340. Scored eight runs, drove in six.
Brad Coley, Muhlenberg: Injury limited him to 12 1/3 innings as a junior but he’s healthy and ready to take his spot at the top of the Muhls’ rotation. Struck out 17 and walked just five last season. Could be top pitcher in the division. Committed to play at Alvernia.
Stephen Croft, Conrad Weiser: Will pitch and play outfield for the Scouts. Struck out 19 over 13 innings last season as a junior, allowing 10 hits. Has committed to play at Hudson Valley Community College.
Trey Dianna, Conrad Weiser: Junior will pitch and play the outfield for the Scouts. Posted a 3.60 ERA last season with 24 strikeouts over 26 innings.

Jaydon Goebel, Twin Valley: Batted .267 and was third on the team with 10 RBIs as a sophomore. Will play third base and see more time on the mound after making just three appearances last season. Earned all-division honorable mention.
Aiden Jackson, Twin Valley: Batted .263 with six runs scored as a sophomore. Will see more time on the mound after throwing six innings last season. Earned all-division honorable mention.
Jake Karnish, Fleetwood: Struck out 38 over a team-leading 26 1/3 innings as a sophomore, posting a 3.95 ERA. Had seven extra-base hits and seven RBIs. Will play second base when not on the mound.
Sean Levan, Muhlenberg: Had a staff-leading 1.83 ERA and 4-3 record over 42 innings as a junior. Struck out 38. Shortstop scored 17 runs, batted .258 and stole 12 bases. Earned all-division honors.
Sam Martinez, Muhlenberg: Big first baseman was second on team last season with 21 RBIs in 24 games. Batted .280 and scored 11 runs. Will provide punch in the middle of the lineup for the Muhls. Earned all-division honorable mention. Committed to play at Brookdale Community College.
Mark Piskorski, Fleetwood: Batted team-leading .375 and earned all-division honors as a junior. Outfielder led team with 18 hits, eight runs scored and six stolen bases.

Jacob Rodriguez, Muhlenberg: Steady second baseman went the whole season without an error. Also scored 15 runs and stole eight bases. Earned all-division honorable mention. Committed to play at Alvernia.
Aidan Soumas, Fleetwood: Had outstanding freshman debut, earning all-division honors after batting .340 with team-leading nine RBIs. Will play outfield for the Tigers.
Kannon Zdimal, Twin Valley: Junior will step into role as No. 1 starter after posting a 1.75 ERA over nine games last season, when he struck out 21 over 24 innings. Was second on team with nine runs scored, third with 14 hits. Earned all-division honorable mention.
