Berks Catholic remained perfect in league play with a 51-32 win over Wilson Monday in a pivotal Berks Girls League Division I matchup at West Lawn.

Caraline Herb hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Saints (8-0, 12-5) and complete the regular season sweep over Bulldogs (5-3, 9-8).
The Saints defeated the Bulldogs 43-34 Dec. 16 at Wolf Gymnasium.
The Saints have won seven of their last eight. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Bulldogs.
Wilson falls a game back in the loss column to both to Gov. Mifflin (6-2) and Reading High (6-2), which are tied for second place and battling for a Berks League playoff spot.
The Bulldogs still have games left against the Mustangs and Red Knights.
Berks Catholic unleashed a 3-point barrage, hitting 11 shots from beyond the arc. Wilson made one.
Berks Catholic leads the league with 100 3’s in 17 games.
The Saints led 21-6 after the first quarter. Gianna Roberts hit three 3’s and Madison Langdon and Herb each hit one. Roberts’ nine points was a career high.
It was 34-14 at halftime as Herb hit two 3’s and Sydney Corado, who finished with eight points, hit one. The Bulldogs outscored the Saints by one point in the second half.
Jasilyn Moncada scored a team-high seven points and hit the lone 3-pointer for Wilson. Freshman Laila Jones was held to four points, more than eight below her team-leading average.
