About the Mounts: Lost District 3 championship to Lancaster Mennonite for third straight year. .  . Jovan Hollis had 18 points in the 57-44 loss last week at Giant Center. . . Hollis leads team in scoring at 13.4 per game. .  . Soph Jowen Reyes-Rodriguez averages 10.1 points and leads team with 28 3-pointers. . . Senior wing Noah Archambault averages 9.4 points. . . Finished second in Berks IV behind Oley Valley. . . Return to the state tournament in back-to-back years for the first time since 2011 and 2012. . . Lost last year in state opener 57-49 to Holy Cross. . . Last state playoff win came in 2011, over Susquehanna. . . Are 3-10 in state tournament as Antietam, 19-17 overall as the Mounts.

About the Pioneers: Beat Delco Christian 65-55 in District 1 championship game, their first since 2020. . Senior guard Nathan Lapp scored 20 points to lead the way. . . Lapp, a Millersville baseball recruit, topped 1,000 points in December. . . He is one of four return starters from team that lost to eventual Class 3A state champ Devon Prep in the opening round of the state tournament last year. . . Team played in Class 3A the past two years. . . Enter state tournament with 13 straight wins. . . Average winning margin this season is nearly 20 points. . . Losses came to Spring-Ford, the District 1 Class 6A champ, and North Penn, which qualified for states in 6A. . . Went unbeaten in Bicentennial League play for the second straight season, and also won the the league tournament.
