Josh McKoy once again helped unbeaten Berks Catholic get past a sluggish start Monday, scoring a game-high 24 points in a 53-42 Berks Conference Division II victory at Robesonia.
The Saints (10-0, 18-0) clinched the division title with the win, their first title since 2020. They finished second to Exeter in Berks II last season and second to Reading High in Berks I the season before.

McKoy became the ninth player in the 13-year history of Berks Catholic to top 1,000 points, scoring eight first-quarter points.
He entered the game needing just three to reach the milestone; he finished with 1,021 points.
The Scouts (4-7, 7-11), who got a team-high 16 points from Donovan Gingrich, were within five points at the half and within seven entering the final quarter.
The Saints got eight points from Parker Nein and six apiece from Armanni Dominguez and Zach Suski.
They won their fourth game since losing sophomore Kingston McKoy with a broken leg.
Berks Catholic won the first meeting against Weiser 59-38 in December, with Nein scoring 23 points and Kingston McKoy 14. Gingrich was held to just seven points in that game.
Josh McKoy played his first two seasons at Antietam, scoring 441 points.
Only six players have scored 1,000 points playing with the Saints: Josiah Jordan, Casey Jack, Nana Foulland, Connor Jack, Luis Garcia, and Ryan Koch.
Donovan Jack scored 526 points with the Saints in their inaugural season, 2011-12. He topped 1,000 points in three seasons at Central Catholic before the school closed.
Marquis Marshall scored 478 of his 1,140 points at Berks Catholic, where he played one season, 2011-12, also after Central closed.

Josh McKoy had a career-high 33 points at Wyomissing Thursday in a 52-40 victory. He had never scored more than 29 points in a game before; that came as a sophomore at Antietam.
This year’s season-high had been 24, against Pottsville. He set a new standard, and did it efficiently, hitting on 10-of-14 shots. He was good on 12-of-16 free throws.
McKoy played with a pair of 1,000-point scorers last season, Jordan, and Koch. He also played with one at Antietam, Hector Tiburcio.
