Gowman, Brantley, Brill highlight Berks girls basketball honor roll

MikeDragoSports.com presents a weekly honor roll of the top Berks girls basketball players each week. Coaches are encouraged to nominate their top player for consideration. One player will be selected Player of the Week.

Grace Reedy, Exeter: scored 23 points and had five rebounds and three steals vs. Muhlenberg.

Alexis Hess, Fleetwood: Led the Tigers to three wins, with 27 points, six rebounds and three assists vs. Antietam, 15 points, six rebounds and four assists against Cocalico and 16 points, six rebounds, and nine assists vs. Tulpehocken.

Kyra Reimert, Hamburg: The senior guard scored seven points against Antietam and team-high eight against Pine Grove. She’s shooting 68 percent from the free throw line and has been a key defensive player for the Hawks.

Peyton Brill, Muhlenberg: The sophomore hit the game-winning 3-pointer with nine seconds left against Exeter and finished with a career-high 15 points, and seven rebounds.

Ky Brantley, Kutztown: The 5-6 junior scored a career-high 31 points vs. Schuylkill Valley, to go with seven rebounds and three steals. She had 16 points, six rebounds and two steals vs. Catasauqua.

Sarah Gowman, Twin Valley: The junior scored 18 points and had eight rebounds, six assists and five steals over two games for the Raiders.
