Twin Valley is 3-0 and No. 2 in the District 3 Class 4A power ratings behind defending PIAA champ Bishop McDevitt.

The Raiders earned their first district home game last season as the No. 4 seed, their highest ever.

A win Friday over Fleetwood will see the Raiders off to a 4-0 start for the first time in their 28-year history.

Berks Catholic and Wyomissing have split their 12 games since first meeting in 2011 but the Saints lead 5-4 since the Keeley-Wolfrum Trophy was instituted in 2012. Berks Catholic’s last win in the series came in 2018 when its freshmen were fourth-graders.

Reading High and Wilson meet for the 30th time Friday.

The Bulldogs have won 11 straight in the series; the Red Knights last win came in 2003, 44-2 at Gurski Stadium.

Last year’s game, set up when the Red Knights returned to Section 1 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League, was the first between the two since 2013.

Exeter has beaten Gov. Mifflin in back-to-back meetings for the first time in their series, which began in 1978.

The Mustangs lead the series 21-7.

The Eagles’ 36-6 win last season was their largest margin-of-victory in the series. Previously, they had never beaten the Mustangs by more than 14 points.

Berks teams are ranked Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in the Lancaster-Lebanon League in total offense.

Twin Valley is No. 1 at 511 yards per game, Wyomissing is second at 464 and Hamburg third at 430.

Elco and Lancaster Catholic are 1-2 in total defense, each allowing less than 100 yards per game.
