Berks All-Star basketball games set for Sunday (updated)
All-Berks picks Colin Payne of Exeter and Hector Tiburcio of Antietam will lead the Blue All-Stars against Muhlenberg All-Berks center Edwin Suarez and the Gold All-Stars in the Berks Senior Basketball game Sunday at Berks Catholic.
The girls All-Star game starts at 1; the boys game starts at 3. In between games All-Berks and all-division awards will be presented.
Berks girls Player of the Year Caroline Reedy of Berks Catholic will lead the Blue team against Twin Valley’s Natali Foster and the Gold All-Stars. Aly York of Hamburg will coach the girls Blue team; Jason Bagenstose of Schuylkill Valley will coach the girls Gold team.
Matt Flowers of Muhlenberg will coach the boys Blue team; Rich Miller of Conrad Weiser will coach the Gold team.
The All-Berks and all-division awards are usually presented at the postseason banquet, but the banquet will not be held this year.
