Owl’s Field Showcase schedule changed in effort to avoid rainout

The lineup for the Berks County High School Showcase at Owl’s Field has been juggled due to expected inclement weather.

The two games scheduled for Friday will now be played Thursday, and with new times:

Oley Valley will play Wyomissing at 4:15, with Brandywine Heights playing Antietam at 7:30.

Rain is in the forecast for Friday.

The Showcase opens today with a doubleheader featuring four of the best teams in the Berks League: Exeter plays Wilson at 4:15 and Muhlenberg meets Gov. Mifflin at 7:30.

There’s a tripleheader scheduled for Saturday: Kutztown meets Schuylkill Valley at noon in a Berks III-IV crossover; Conrad Weiser faces Fleetwood  at 3:30 in Berks II play; and Daniel Boone plays Wilson at 7 in the Bulldogs’ Senior Night game.

All games will be played at the friendly confines of Ted Palka Park.
