Q: If you could go one-on-one against any WNBA player, past or present, who would it be?
Sue Bird. Or Brittney Griner — but not to go one-on-one with. I would be more interested in hearing what the inside of a Russian prison is like.
Q: Who’s the local high school basketball player you looked up to most as a kid?
I played with KTB so I would say Lonnie Walker. His talent combined with how he continues to give back to our community is inspiring.
Q: You’re in charge of the lunch menu at Wyomissing. What’s the first thing you add? And the first thing you get rid of?
I would add Chick Fil-A to the menu and get rid of everything else.
Q: What’s the one basketball skill you’d like to add to your game?
I’m 5-3 1/2, so obviously dunking
Q: You win the Megamillions jackpot. Where are you taking your family for vacation?
I would take my family and close friends on a month-long vacation to Greece. We could all take a ferry out to Kalokairi.
Q: Which of your teammates would be toughest to guard in a real game?
For me it would be Maya (Stewart). I feel like our skill set is pretty similar, but she may have an inch or two on me.
Q: If you could hang out with any celebrity or pro athlete for the day, who would it be and what would you do?
Chris Hemsworth. Traveling the world with Chris Hemsworth doing some of the crazy, extreme challenges like on his new show “Limitless” sounds like a perfect day to me.
Q: Be honest now: How many text messages do you send per day?
Not many. My teammates actually make fun of me for never answering.
Q: If they made a movie about your team, which actor would play the part of Coach Anders?
Will Ferrell or Alexis Hardy. She does a pretty good Coach Anders’ impression.
Q: What’s your favorite basketball memory?
I have loved my teammates each year, especially this year as a senior and I am fortunate to have made so many good memories with all of them. However, a game memory is easy: My freshman year at Twin Valley we were down by one and I just subbed into the game. I was fouled with seconds left on the clock and we were in the bonus. I barely remember walking to the free throw line to shoot a 1-and-1; everyone said I was white as a ghost. I made my first shot and the gym went wild. I went on to make the second shot and we won the game (47-44).
