Mitchell, an All-PAC first team selection, has compiled a 3.80 GPA majoring in Economics and Philosophy. He earned academic recognition on the CoSIDA Academic All-District IV Team and was named PAC SAAC Scholar-Athlete December.

Mitchell helped Washington & Jefferson win its first Presidents’ Athletic Conference championship since the 1994-95 season. He averaged 16.2 points, second on the team, and led the team in rebounds (8.3), assists and steals.

He earned All-Region honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com. The Presidents won a program-record 24 games.

As a senior at Berks Catholic in 2018-19, Mitchell averaged 7.5 points and hit a team-leading 40 3-points as the Saints went 22-7, reached the Berks Conference title game and qualified for the PIAA Tournament. He was a starting guard on the 2017-18 team that finished 28-3, won Berks and District 3 Class 4A titles and advanced to the PIAA quarterfinals.

Mitchell led the conference in steals (3.1 per game), was second in assists (4.8) and seventh in scoring and rebounding. He was seventh in the nation in steals per game among all Division III players.

He posted three triple-doubles, 12 double-doubles and surpassed the 20-point mark nine times. He was named PAC Player of the Week three times. His three triple-doubles were the fourth most by a Division III this season.
