Gov. Mifflin and Muhlenberg clinched division titles with wins Friday in Berks League baseball.
The unbeaten Mustangs clinched the Berks I title, their first since 2017, with a 5-2 win over Daniel Boone. The Muhls clinched the Berks II title, their second straight, with an 11-2 win over Exeter.
The Mustangs (9-0 Berks I, 16-0) have three league games remaining and are on course to earn the No. 1 seed entering the playoffs; that will be determined by power rating.
Wilson (5-3 Berks I, 6-7) can potentially tie for first but Mifflin owns the tiebreaker advantage, having swept the Bulldogs in their season series.
The Muhls (8-1 Berks II, 12-1) have two league games remaining and a three-game lead over second-place Twin Valley (4-4, 9-4) in the loss column.
Muhlenberg’s only loss, after a 10-0 start, came this week at Mifflin, 12-4.
At Birdsboro, Tyler Minick went 2-for-2 and walked twice to spark Mifflin. He led off the game with a triple and scored on Darien Troche’s two-out double. He had an RBI single in the three-run second as the Mustangs went on top 4-0.

Freshman Ethan Grim went six innings for Mifflin to pick up the win. He allowed 11 hits and four walks but just two runs. Matt Novotny pitched the final inning for the save.
The Blazers (4-5, 7-8) out-hit the Mustangs 11-8. Dylan Schueler went 3-for-4 and Mason Walter and Nate DeBusi each had two hits.
At Laureldale, Jacob Rodriguez doubled twice and drove in four runs to spark the Muhls, who scored four times in the fourth to lead 7-0. Luis Beato singled twice, walked and scored three runs. Sam Martinez and Kenay Rodriguez each had two RBIs.
Brad Coley and Dalton Follweiler combined on a two-hitter for the Muhls. Coley struck out 10, allowed one hit and walked six over five innings. Follweiler struck out three and allowed one hit over two innings.
The Eagles (5-4, 10-5) are battling Wilson for second place in Berks I and the league playoff berth that goes with it.
