Julian O’Brien leads Gold all-stars to win in Berks Senior Game

Julian O’Brien scored 18 second-half points to lead the Gold All-Stars over the Blue All-Stars 111-107 Sunday in the Berks Senior All-Star Game at Wolf Gymnasium.

O’Brien finished with a team-high 20 points. Joey Chapman of Reading High had 19 for the Gold Team.

Hector Tiburcio of Antietam led the Blue team with 20 points.

In the girls game, Jadyn Heck-Hoppes of Schuylkill Valley scored 15 points and Natali Foster of Twin Valley had 13 to lead the Gold stars over the Blue stars 60-58.

Kya Washington of Reading High, playing for the Blue stars, scored a game-high 20 points; Caroline Reedy of Berks Catholic scored 11 for the Blue.

In the boys game, Edwin Suarez of Muhlenberg scored 17 points and Muhls teammate Alex Tomlinson scored 11 points for the Gold stars.

For the Blue stars, Aidan Sands of Berks Catholic hit three 3-pointers and scored 19 points, Xavier Goodman of Kutztown had 15 and Aanjay Feliciano of Conrad Weiser had 13.
