Senior forward
Q: If you could go one-on-one with any player, past or present, who would it be?
I would have liked to go one-on-one with my great-grandfather (Edmund Appleby) because he shared the same love and passion for basketball.

Q: Who is the hardest-working player on your team?
I think the hardest working player has to be Tyler (Minick); he gives 110% every time he’s on the court.
Q: Who’s the Gov. Mifflin basketball player you looked up to most as a kid?
One player I looked up to the most, even though I played with him for a year, would be Matt Gehris. He had a great feel for the game and would give me encouragement and confidence when I needed it.
Q: If you could hang out with any celebrity or pro athlete for a day who would it be?
I think it would be awesome to hang out with Brian Shaw, a World’s Strongest Man, because he puts every ounce of will that he has towards his family, business, and training, and I would like to see that in person.
Q: Who’s the NBA team you don’t want to miss when they’re on TV?
I like watching the Golden State Warriors because they are playing as a team and I love watching Steph (Curry) hit ‘logo’ shots anytime in the game.
Q: What’s the one thing Coach Conrad has said to you that you think will stick with you for the rest of your life?
One thing he harps on is giving as much as you have at any given moment, and I think that’ll stay with me for a very long time.
Q: What’s your favorite food to eat on game day?
I try to keep it lighter on game days, so that would mean a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a granola bar a couple hours before tip-off.
Q: What’s the one basketball skill you’d like to add to your game?
I’d love to be able to dunk consistently, because I feel like that would make me even more aggressive.
Q: If you could use a “lifeline” during a critical moment of a close game who would you call for advice?
I would call my Pop-Pop (Walt Woolwine) because he played for many years and knows a ton about the game; I would certainly listen to his advice.
Q: What will a successful basketball season look like for Gov. Mifflin?
A successful season would consist of playing as one unit, sharing the ball, having confidence in each other and giving all you have for each other.
