Spartans update: Beat Cardinal O’Hara last week on senior running back Sean Steckert’s 4-yard touchdown run with 31 seconds left . . . it was second straight week they scored in the final minute to win. . . beat Shamokin 30-27 the week before on a Steckert TD run. . . Steckert, who has rushed for a program-record 2,911 yards, ran for 210 yards and three touchdowns on 40 carries last week. . . Steckert is committed to play at East Stroudsburg. . . QB Colton Sams, the son of head coach Phil Sams, completed 14-of-18 passes last week for 149 yards and a TD. . .
