Top Players to Watch in Section 4 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League for 2025
2025 Berks football coverage presented by
Utilities Employees Credit Union
Lampeter-Strasburg was loaded from top to bottom last season, with 12 Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 4 first-team all-league picks, including Offensive Back of the Year and play-making quarterback Caileb Howse and Linebacker of the Year Emory Fluhr.
There’s another potential powerhouse waiting to take the Pioneers’ spot: Wyomissing, which lays claim to six of the section’s 11 returning first-team all-league picks, including Defensive Back of the Year Justice Hardy.
Hardy appears positioned to take Howse’s spot as the section’s most dominant player after a sophomore season that saw him earn All-State honors by making game-changing plays as a ballcarrier, receiving, defensive back and kick returner.
Here’s your first look at the top players in Section 4 for the 2025 season. Later this week we’ll take a look at the top players in Section 3.
(This is part two of a five-part series and a collaboration between LNP/Lancaster On-Line and MikeDragoSports.com. Jeff Reinhart of LNP contributed player capsules.)
Top Players to Watch in Section 5

Andrew Bresnahan, Wyomissing
T/LB
Bresnahan’s coaches were so impressed with his blocking ability at tight end last season they’re moving him to tackle, where he’ll use his 6-3, 220-pound frame as a full-time blocker.
Same goes for the defensive side: He moved so well and was so physical as an outside linebacker that they’re planning to move him to an end spot to better make use of his ability to stop the run and storm the pocket.
Bresnahan was a good enough tight end last year to earn all-league second-team honors; that was solely based on his blocking ability (he had just two receptions).
Defensively, he recorded four sacks, had three pressures, and forced a fumble.
The rising junior is already attracting attention from college coaches: He was invited to a camp at North Dakota State and is getting serious looks from FCS programs.

Chase Eisenhower, Wyomissing
FB/LB
Eisenhower has been a fixture in the Spartans’ lineup since moving into a starting linebacker spot midway through his freshman year in 2022.
He was a two-way all-league pick as a junior, at fullback and inside linebacker, and enters the season expected to again be a driving force in Wyomissing’s bid for a Section 4 championship.
The 6-foot, 225-pound Eisenhower was the leading tackler on team that ranked No. 4 overall in the 37-team Lancaster-Lebanon League against the rush, No. 5 in total defense and No. 7 in points allowed.
He took the lead role on offense at fullback, averaging 7.0 yards per carry and scoring 13 touchdowns. Only his lack of touches – he had just 112 carries – kept him from repeating as a 1,000-yard rusher.
Eisenhower enters his final season with over 2,200 career rushing yards and in position to become just the third 3,000-yard rusher in program history. His 33 career rushing touchdowns are just 13 shy of Alex Anzalone’s program record.

Drew Engle, Twin Valley
RB/DB/KR
Engle entered last season as one of the top tailbacks in the league but saw his season derailed in the season-opener when he suffered a shoulder injury that shelved him for 10 weeks.
He didn’t return until the District 3 Class 4A quarterfinals in November, against Susquehanna Township. He quickly showed what the Raiders had been missing as he rushed for 122 yards and scored three touchdowns.
Engle set the program rushing record as a sophomore, when he averaged 10.5 yards per carry and rushed for 1,599 yards, all while sharing backfield reps with Evan Johnson.
Engle has the ability to change the game in all three phases, as a runner and receiver, defensive back, and kick returner.
Football isn’t even his best sport: He was named Berks Player of the Year in lacrosse after scoring 44 goals and leading the Raiders to the PIAA semifinals. He’s committed to play lacrosse for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Peter Fiorello, Lampeter-Strasburg
PK/P
Fiorello was unreal as a junior, when the Pioneers won the Section 4 title, captured the District 3 Class 4A crown and reached the PIAA championship game.
Fiorello made 67-for-68 PATs and 11-of-13 field goals, including the game-winning boot vs. Wyomissing in the district finale and the go-ahead FG in the state semifinals vs. Thomas Jefferson. That’s 100 kicking points on the dot.

Fiorello also boomed 30 touchbacks and averaged 35.6 yards per punt.
He was a Pennsylvania Football Writers All-State pick and earned a spot on the LNP/MikeDragoSports.com Big 37.
Fiorello spent the summer competing in camps at Temple, Buffalo, Towson, Cornell, Monmouth, William & Mary, and Post, which offered him a scholarship.

Ben Grundy, Twin Valley
WR/CB/P/KR
The Raiders were loaded with so many all-stars last season that Grundy often flew below the radar. He took advantage by catching 43 passes, third-most in the entire league, for 526 yards and seven touchdowns. He earned Receiver of the Year status in Section 4.
Record-setting quarterback Evan Myers has graduated, so Grundy may not see as many ball spiraling in his direction but he’ll still make a major impact for the Raiders, and in all phases of the game.
The rising senior will hold down a spot as a cornerback, could return kicks, and may be the Raiders’ punter.
No doubt he’ll be one of the fastest players in the league. He was the Berks champ in the 400 last spring and finished fifth in the 200.

Justice Hardy, Wyomissing
RB/KR/CB
Is it possible the best all-around player in the entire 37-team Lancaster-Lebanon League is a 5-9 underclassmen who plays in Section 4?
Oh, it’s quite possible.
Hardy flashed his all-around dynamic athletic skills as a freshman in 2023 and last year became a true triple threat for the Spartans.
He was named Defensive Back of the Year in Section 4, a first-team all-league pick as a kick returner, averaged 9.3 yards per carry and scored 15 touchdowns in 11 games.
He was the top cover corner on a defense ranked No. 5 in the entire league in total defense, had a Pick-6, a punt block, and a forced fumble.
Hardy recorded a 10.87 in the 100 at the Firing Meet and is stronger than last season after adding 20 pounds. He already has a Division I offer, from Liberty, and is sure to get many more.

Greyson Miller, Twin Valley
G/DT
The Raiders have produced a string of dominating linemen in recent seasons: Ean Winchester, Noah Roehm, Paul McClune, Aris Drake, and Carter Faubel, to name a few. Miller is next in line.
He’s a four-year starter on the offensive line and a two-year vet on defense; he’s coming off a season that saw him earn first-team honors as a D-end and second-team honors at guard.
The 6-1, 260-pound rising senior will again be a key to the Raiders’ ground game, which produced over 225 rushing yards per game last season.
He’s a threat to score on defense, where he returned fumbles for touchdowns last year in wins over Elco and Donegal.
Miller moves well for his size, as evidenced by being selected second-team all-league for Twin Valley’s state semifinalist lacrosse team.

Lucas Myers, Twin Valley
RB/LB
In his first varsity game, as a freshman, Myers started at linebacker and recorded 11 tackles. He hasn’t stopped knocking people down since.
He enters his junior season with the reputation as one of the best linebackers in the league; now he’s ready to take on an even more expanded role on the field and could emerge as a Top 10 player in Berks.
In addition to anchoring the Raiders’ defense, where he made 88 solo tackles and had four sacks as a sophomore, the 6-1, 210-pound Myers will see a bigger role on offense.
He’s had limited touches the last two years but has produced when given the ball: He scored four touchdowns in a 2023 win over Daniel Boone and has averaged over 7 yards per carry.
With his production on the field and his football pedigree – his father Brett is the Raiders’ head coach; brother Evan was a four-year starter at QB who’s now at Kutztown University – Lucas Myers is sure to get plenty of college looks. He performed this spring and summer in camps at Maryland, West Virginia, Syracuse and Rutgers.

Tyler Niedrowski, Wyomissing
FB/LB/LS
Niedrowski was a first-team all-league pick at linebacker and selected as Berks County Defensive Player of the Year by MikeDragoSports.com after leading one of the best defenses in the Lancaster-Lebanon League with 10 tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hurries, and seven sacks.
He didn’t see a lot of touches at fullback but was explosive when he got his chance, never more so than in the district championship game when he broke off an 80-yard touchdown run.
Despite just 74 carries he earned second-team all-league honors on offense after averaging 6.3 yards per carry and scoring seven TDs.
The 5-11, 200-pound Niedrowski is the key to Wyomissing’s defense because of his ability to stop the run on the edge, cover tight ends and backs out of the backfield, and blitz the pocket. Those skills helped the Spartans win 10 games last season, return to District 3 championship game and rank No. 5 in the league in total defense.
Collin Shelley, Lampeter-Strasburg
OT/DT
Shelley is back to anchor the offensive and defensive lines for the Pioneers, who took heavy graduation losses after winning a district title and playing for a state championship.
The punishing 6-4, 285-pound rising senior was a first-team all-league pick at offensive and defensive tackle last fall.
He piled up 46 tackles, with three sticks for a loss, a sack and a pair of QB hurries on D.
Shelley is garnering college looks and made summer camp visits to Penn, Towson, Temple, Villanova, Stony Brook, and Stonehill, which offered a scholarship.

Paul Williams, Elco
OL/DE

(Mark Palczewski/LNP photo)
It’s the swan song for the final Williams brother at Elco.
Paul is poised for a big finish after his wrecking-ball junior campaign, when he earned second-team all-league honors at his trusty D-end spot.
Relentless. Tireless. He’ll wrap and tackle you with the best of them and keep opposing quarterbacks looking over their shoulder.
Williams and the Raiders will be looking for a return trip to the District 3 Class 4A playoffs, where they won a first-round game last fall.
And yes, it will be strange for some Elco fans not seeing another Williams brother in Myerstown in 2026.

Thad Wolf, Lampeter-Strasburg
OT-DT
Talk about bruising bookend offensive tackles: Pioneers’ opponents must solve two of the most punishing O-tackles around in Wolf and Collin Shelley.
Wolf is a 6-5, 340 pounds, with a 33-inch reach that helps neutralize opposing pass-rushers. Even at this size, he moves effectively along the line.
He is coming off a breakout sophomore season during which he blew open plenty of holes for the Pioneers’ quick-strike offense.
In limited time on the defensive side he chipped in with 15 tackles and a pair of hits for loss.
Wolf had an impressive summer showing at a University of Buffalo showcase and turned heads at a Penn State camp with a similarly dominating performance. He’s sure to draw numerous scholarship offers before he’s done at Lampeter-Strasburg.
