Justice Hardy stands out on the inaugural BCFCA Small School All-Berks team for several reasons.

The Wyomissing sophomore is the lone unanimous pick and the only three-way selection, earning spots at All-Purpose Back, kick returner and defensive back. He is also one of just three sophomores, along with Berks Catholic offensive lineman Eric Bennethum and Twin Valley inside linebacker Lucas Myers.

The team was selected in voting by coaches from Berks County’s six smallest schools: Berks Catholic, Hamburg, Kutztown, Schuylkill Valley, Twin Valley and Wyomissing.

Wyomissing’s Bob Wolfrum, the winningest coach in Berks history, is Coach of the Year after a 10-3 season that ended in the District 3 Class 4A championship game and with his team ranked No. 5 in the state in Class 4A.

Eight players are two-way picks: Berks Catholic’s Bryce Gumby, at running back and defensive back; Schuykill Valley’s Luke Spotts, at tight end and outside linebacker; Twin Valley’s Evan Johnson, at running back and defensive back; Twin Valley’s Carter Faubel, at guard and defensive tackle; Wyomissing’s Chase Eisenhower, at running back and inside linebacker; Wyomissing’s Keegan Maher, at placekicker and punter; Wyomissing’s Tyler Niedrowski, at outside linebacker and long snapper; and Wyomissing’s Max Tipton, at guard and defensive tackle.

Underclassmen represent 15 of the 31 spots; eight of those 15 are from Wyomissing, four from Twin Valley.
