Wilson took the lead with a pair of runs in the fifth inning and reliever Ben Kulp made them stand up as the seventh-seeded Bulldogs held on for a 4-2 win over visiting Manheim Township Thursday in a District 3 Class 6A semifinal.
The Bulldogs (19-7) advance to the championship game Tuesday against fifth-seeded Cedar Cliff, a 4-2 win over Red Lion in the other semifinals. The game will be played at a neutral site, to be determined.
The streaking Bulldogs have won 11 of their last 12 games, their lone loss coming to Gov. Mifflin in the Berks League championship game.
Nick Crocona earned the win, going five innings. He allowed five hits and two runs, one earned.
Evan Gabaldon had three hits for Wilson; Tommy Hunsicker had two hits and scored twice.
Wilson went ahead 3-2 with a pair of runs in the fifth. They added a run in the sixth.
