One week after a career highlight Wilson grad Cam Jones has added another: He was named to the All-Patriot League first team at cornerback.
The 5-11, 190-pound junior started all 10 games for Holy Cross and led the team with eight pass breakups. He was second on the team with 37 unassisted tackles and tied for third with 59 tackles. Jones had a season-high nine tackles in a 28-22 conference win at Richmond Oct. 18.

Last year, his first as a starter with the Crusaders, he earned second-team all-league honors.
Jones capped off his season with a Pick-6 that covered 23 yards in the Crusaders’ season-ending 42-7 win over Georgetown. The game was played at historic Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.
Jones is joined on the first team by three teammates: Cam Santee, a junior linebacker; Cam Nolan, a senior guard; and senior punt returner Max Mosey, a two-time first-team pick and former quarterback at Central Dauphin.
Four Holy Cross players earned second-team honors: Junior running back Jayden Clerveaux; junior cornerback Eli Thompson; sophomore kick returner Alijah Cason; and senior long snapper John Owens.
Lehigh’s Kevin Cahill was named Coach of the Year.
Lehigh junior running back Luke Yoder was named conference Offensive Player of the Year. Lehigh senior linebacker was named Defensive Player of the Year. Colgate wide receiver Matt Fogler was named Rookie of the Year.
Jones was named a team captain before the season. He was one of four Holy Cross players named to the Patriot League preseason all-league team.
Last year Jones led Holy Cross with nine pass breakups and tied for the team lead with a pair of interceptions, Jones also tied for third on the team with 56 tackles.
Holy Cross experienced a rare down season, finishing 3-9 overall, 3-4 in the conference. Before this season the Crusaders had won at least share of the Patriot League title in each of the previous six seasons; they shared the title last year with Lehigh.
