LEBANON — Like many first-year starting quarterbacks, Wilson senior Mason Young will make a mistake or two. It’s what comes after the mishap that set Young and the Bulldogs apart from Cedar Crest Friday night in a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 football game.

| Cedar Crest | 20 |
Young regrouped after throwing a game-tying interception that was returned for a touchdown to lead visiting Wilson over Cedar Crest 62-20 for coach Doug Dahms’ 200th victory.
Dahms, just the third Berks coach to reach the milestone, is 200-44 in his 20th season.
After Garrett Starry returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown that got Cedar Crest even at 14-14 in a wild first quarter, Young and the Bulldogs (2-0, 4-1) dominated the Falcons (1-1, 2-3).
Young threw four touchdown passes and ran for 62 yards and another score as Wilson broke the game open in the second quarter. Elijah Dean had two of the touchdown receptions, including a 40-yarder late in the first quarter that gave Wilson a 21-14 lead.
Michael Glover and James Carpenter also caught touchdown passes and Correll Akings rushed for two more scores. Linebacker E.J. Brownback got in on the scoring act with a 47-yard interception return, his third pick-six of the season.
Isaiah Zimmerman ran 72 yards for a Cedar Crest touchdown in a first quarter that featured 35 points. He also scored on a 12-yard run in the third quarter after Wilson had opened a 42-14 halftime lead.
