Weiser grad named MAC Player of the Week

Conrad Weiser grad Logan Klitsch has been named Middle Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading Lebanon Valley College to a 24-21 win over Eastern.

The redshirt junior rushed for career-high and team-leading 104 yards and a touchdown in the win. He completed 14-of-25 passes for 170 yards and a TD.
Klitsch has started all three games for the Dutchmen (2-0, 2-1). For the season he’s completed 37-of-70 passes for 443 and four touchdowns without and interception. He has rushed for 197 yards with a pair of TDs.
Klitsch graduated from Weiser in 2022 as the program’s all-time passing leader, with 5,167 yards, at the time third-most in Berks history.
He finished his senior season, 2021, with 2,562 passing yards, second-most in Berks history at the time. In his final game he completed 36-of-52 passes with four TDs for a career-high 399 yards.
His 67.6 percentage completion rate as a senior was second-highest in program history; his career completion rate of .623 was tied for second-highest ever. His 51 TD career passes were fourth-most.
Klitsch appeared in six games for Lebanon Valley last season, completing 25-of-51 passes for 332 yards and three TDs. He appeared in nine games as a freshman.
Klitsch spent the 2022 season at Dartmouth before transferring to Lebanon Valley.
Lebanon Valley plays at Delaware Valley Saturday.
