Week 3: Fearless Friday Football Forecast (updated with results)

The injuries are piling up quickly this season.
Week 2 was especially painful for the Fearless Forecasters: Three finished with losing records for the week, two others were right at .500.
Wyomissing, picked by all 12 Forecasters to win, couldn’t get in the end zone against The Haverford School. Reading High, picked to lose by 11 of 12 Forecasters, beat Muhlenberg. Fleetwood, a 2-to-1 favorite by the Forecasters, lost to Upper Perkiomen.
Not good, fellas; not good at all. Jobs could be on the line if this doesn’t pick up.
This looks like a much more clear-cut week: Seven teams are unanimous picks to win. Then again, what do we know?
We get another early start this week as Berks Catholic kicks things off Thursday with a visit to Bethlehem Catholic.
Each week, MikeDragoSports.com staff writers, photographers and contributors, along with Mike Gross and Jeff Reinhart of football partner LNP/Lancasteronline, will pick all the Berks games, along with other selected other Lancaster-Lebanon League games.
We’ll keep standings and the Forecaster with the most points at the end of the season will get a (relatively) big prize!
Each correct pick earns one point; if a Forecaster “doubles down” on a Berks team and is correct he gets two points. Each Fearless Forecaster can “down double” on a team only once during the regular season (and once again during the postseason)
