Unbeaten Manheim Central unloads on Muhlenberg

Manheim Central kept its undefeated start alive with a 70-0 Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 2 win over Muhlenberg at Rettew Stadium Friday night.
It was the largest shutout loss in Muhlenberg history and matched the largest loss, a 77-7 defeat against Exeter last season.
The Muhls were playing without their premier running back, Gio Cavanna, who had over 600 rushing yards in the first five games.
The Barons put on a clinical display on offense led by junior quarterback Zac Hahn. Hahn went 11-for-14 with 235 yards passing and four touchdowns.
Brycen Armold rushed for 112 yards and four touchdowns on seven carries.
Hahn’s receiving options good ones, too. Bode Sipel caught all four balls thrown to him, totaling 99 yards and one touchdown. Aaron Enterline caught three balls for 76 yards and two touchdowns, one a 67-yard bomb.
The Barons (2-0, 6-0) had 428 yards of total offense.
Manheim Central’s defense made it tough for Muhlenberg (1-2, 2-4) to move the ball, allowing only 103 total yards.
Manheim Central takes its undefeated record to Alumni Stadium Friday for a Section 2 match-up with Lebanon. Muhlenberg is on the road again at Exeter.
