Engle also ran 3 yards for a TD in a first period that saw the Raiders (3-0) score seven touchdowns and build a 49-0 lead.

Vaughn Zielinski also had a touchdown on a kickoff return that covered 76 yards. The Raiders had an interception return for a TD by Maverik Foster.

The 67 points is the third-most in program history and marks the first time Twin Valley has reached 60 points in consecutive weeks. It beat Selinsgrove 62-0 last week.

In three games the Raiders, ranked No. 10 in the state in Class 4A, have scored 178 points.

Engle had just two carries in the game, rushing for 28 yards. That was part of a 299-yard effort, on 22 carries. Backup Bayliss Brunacini led the way with 118 yards on nine carries, with fourth-quarter scoring runs of 61 and 30 yards.

Lucas Myers made the most of his one carry, taking it 82 yards for a TD.

The Foster brothers, Maverik and Gavan, attempted five passes, all of them complete, for 127 yards. The Raiders had 426 total yards.

The Raiders open play in Section 4 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League next week against Elco.

Simon Gratz (0-3), which plays in the Philadelphia Public League, was shut out in each of its first two games, losing 53-0 to Bonner-Prendergast and 52-0 to Episcopal Academy, each on the road.

Myers ran for three touchdowns and 135 yards in last week’s 62-0 win at Selinsgrove. Drew Engle scored twice and rushed for a game-high 138 yards.

This was the first meeting between the two programs. Simon Gratz replaced Olney Charter on the Raiders’ schedule. Twin Valley recorded a 69-0 win over Olney last season, the most one-sided victory in program history.

Twin Valley is 3-0 for the third straight season. The Raiders won their first seven games each of the past two seasons.
