Jack Riffle and Mason Musitano, Fleetwood’s record-setting passing duo, will have one last chance to play a little catch next month.
They’ll team up together again for the Berks-Lebanon squad in the annual Manheim Touchdown Club Tri-County All-Star Game May 24 at Manheim Central’s Elden Rettew Field. Kickoff is set for 7.
Top senior players from Berks and Lebanon counties will team up against the top seniors from Lancaster County.
The Berks-Lebanon roster includes 38 players, 30 of whom played for Berks teams.
The Berks squad will be led by Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 5 all-league tight end Mason Semmel of Hamburg, Section 1 all-league lineman Michael Odeyemi of Reading High and Section 4 all-league linebacker Connor Pennington of Berks Catholic.

Top players from Lebanon County include Darrian Holloway of Annville-Cleona, the Outstanding Lineman in Section 5, and his Little Dutchmen teammate Cael Harter, the Defensive Back of the Year in Section 5.
Riffle set Fleetwood records for completions in a game (26) and season (128) in leading the Tigers to a 6-5 record and a 42-41 win over Shamokin in the Eastern Conference Class 4A championship game.
Nearly half of those passes went to Musitano, who set program records for receptions in a game (15), season (59) and career (115).
The Lancaster squad will be led by all-league running back Bryce Armold of Manheim Central, all-league running back Sam Steffy of Cocalico and Solanco’s Gavin Cox, the Outstanding Lineman in Section 3.
Fleetwood and Berks Catholic each have five players on the roster; Hamburg and Twin Valley each have four. Eleven Berks schools are represented on the initial roster. There are no selections from Wilson, Gov. Mifflin, or Kutztown.
Some top seniors have conflicts with spring sports, other all-star football games or are not permitted to play due to college commitments.
Ryker Jones and Andrew Forrey of Wyomissing, Paul McClune of Twin Valley and Joey Polinsky of Berks Catholic will be playing in the East-West Game a week before and will not participate in the L-L game.
Several of Lancaster’s top players, among them Aaron Enterline of Manheim Central and Hayden Johnson of Manheim Township, were selected for the Big 33 Classic.
Matt Hoffert of Hamburg will be the head coach for the Berks team.
Last year’s game was suspended at halftime due to a medical emergency affecting the parent of one of the players.
