State rankings: Twin Valley remains on top, Wyomissing No. 4 ahead of clash

Twin Valley remains at the top of the PennLive.com Class 4A state rankings, three spots ahead of Wyomissing, as the two Lancaster-Lebanon League powers draw closer to their much-anticipated Section 4 match-up.
The Raiders (6-0) and fourth-ranked Spartans (5-1) play next week at Twin Valley.
Those teams are joined by Wilson and Exeter in the state rankings, each listed as a Team to Watch, the Bulldogs (5-1) in Class 6A, the Eagles (6-0) in 5A.
The Eagles have a lot of company in the unbeaten club; they are one of eight Class 5A teams without a loss, and one of three in District 3, along with Mechanicsburg and New Oxford. Also, Bishop McDevitt, the Class 4A champ last year, is 5-1 and ranked No. 7 in the state in Class 5A.
Two other Lancaster-Lebanon teams remain in the Top 10: Manheim Township (6-0) is No. 6 in Class 6A; Lampeter-Strasburg (6-0) is No. 7 in 4A. Lampeter has upcoming Section 4 dates with Twin Valley and Wyomissing.
There was a major shakeup in Class 5A where No. 1 Roman Catholic dropped to No. 10 after a second straight loss, 38-30 to Bonner-Prendergast, which is No. 6 in 4A. Pine-Richland (5-0) moves from No. 5 to the top spot after a 71-0 blitz of Fox Chapel.
In a rare move, seven-time defending state champion Southern Columbia (3-3) has fallen out of the Top 10 for the first time after a 34-7 loss to Danville, its second loss in three weeks. The Tigers opened the season ranked No. 1 in 2A before losing its opener at Wyomissing, 35-21.
