Wyomissing and Twin Valley held their spots in the Top 10 heading into their Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 4 showdown this week at Wolfrum Field.

The Spartans are No. 3 and the Raiders are No. 5 in Class 4A; they’re joined in the Top 10 by Section 4 rival Lampeter-Strasburg, which moves back into the Top 10 at No. 10. The Pioneers opened the season at No. 8 before falling out with a Week 2 loss again Warwick.

This could be the first of several Top 10 showdowns in Section 4 over the next few weeks. The Raiders host the Pioneers in Week 9; the Spartans end the regular season at Lampeter-Strasburg.

In Class 5A, Exeter holds at No. 5 after knocking off unbeaten Muhlenberg last week. The Muhls, who were listed as a Team To Watch last week for the first time this season, dropped out of the rankings following the 42-12 loss.

Conestoga Valley remains a Team To Watch in 5A; it will host Exeter in Week 9.

Wilson remains a Team To Watch in 6A, as does Section 1 rival Manheim Township. They’ll meet in Week 10 in West Lawn.
