State rankings: No. 1 Bonner-Prendie unseated in 4A by team which lost to Wyomissing

There was just one notable change in the state rankings this week with defending PIAA Class 4A champ and top-ranked Bonner-Prendergast taking its first loss, to The Haverford School. The 28-24 loss dropped the Friars to No. 3.
That result is interesting because The Haverford School opened its season with a 29-26 loss at Wyomissing, which is ranked No. 4 in Class 4A.
Southern Lehigh takes over the top spot in 4A.
Wyomissing is one of four Berks teams in the rankings this week. Unbeaten Exeter remains at No. 5 in Class 5A. Unbeaten Twin Valley remains at No. 6 in 4A. Wilson remains a Team To Watch in 6A.
Conrad Weiser, which was listed as a Team To Watch in 5A after its 4-0 start, was dropped from the rankings following a 20-7 loss to Manheim Central last week.
