State rankings: Exeter, Wyomissing slip after losses; Berks Catholic dropped

Exeter and Wyomissing each dropped following district playoff losses but remained ranked in the Top 10 in the state in their respective classes. Berks Catholic, which lost its District 3 Class 3A championship game to Trinity 17-0, fell out of the Top 10 and is listed as an honorable mention selection.
Twin Valley remained No. 1 in Class 4A for the fourth straight week ahead of its district championship showdown with Susquehanna Township, which remained at No. 4 after edging No. 5 Wyomissing 37-35 in the semifinal round.
The Spartans slipped two spots to No. 7 the Eagles slipped one spot to No. 9. Wilson, which saw its season ended by Central York in a 6A semifinal, remains an honorable mention selection.
Manheim Township, which had been No. 7 in 6A, fell out of the Top 10 after its semifinal loss to No. 1 Harrisburg.
The only other Lancaster-Lebanon League team in the rankings is Solanco, which jumped into the Top 10 at No. 7 in 5A after its semifinal win over No. 10 New Oxford.
