Twin Valley has accumulated a lot of hardware after a 14-win season and trip to the PIAA Class 4 championship game.

The Raiders have collected six of the seven major awards, as well as Coach of the Year, on BCFCA Small School All-Berks team.

Drew Engle was named both Player of the Year and Offensive Back of the Year, Greyson Miller earned both Offensive and Defensive Linemen of the Year, and Brett Myers was named Coach of the Year.

The Raiders also claimed Linebacker of the Year, for Lucas Myers, and Receiver of the Year, for Ben Grundy.

Defensive Back of the Year Justice Hardy of Wyomissing was the only other major award winner.

The team was selected in voting by coaches from Berks County’s six smallest schools: Berks Catholic, Hamburg, Kutztown, Schuylkill Valley, Twin Valley, and Wyomissing.

A Big School team was also selected; it will be announced tomorrow.

Twin Valley, the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 4 champ, had the most selections, with 12. Berks Catholic, the Section 5 champ, and Wyomissing each had seven selections.

Engle, Grundy, Hardy, and Miller are among six two-way selections, along with Hamburg lineman Astian Reppert and Berks Catholic kicker Alex Reali.

There are 10 repeat selections, among them Twin Valley center Noah DiGiacomo, Berks Catholic defensive lineman Eric Bennethum, and Wyomissing linebackers Chase Eisenhower and Tyler Niedrowski.

There are 14 underclassmen, including four sophomores: Twin Valley quarterback Maverik Foster, Berks Catholic defensive back Mason Mace, Twin Valley long snapper Nathan Malone and Reali.
