Quarterback Drew Campbell ran for a pair of scores and threw for a pair as Schuylkill Valley beat Upper Perkiomen 42-14 Friday, earning its first victory under first-year head coach Bruce Harbach.
The Panthers (1-3) scored three times in the first quarter and never trailed.

They scored twice on defense, first with a safety, then later in the game on a 74-yard interception return by junior Michael Goad.
Goad also threw a touchdown pass.
Campbell, a senior, completed 11-of-15 passes for 151 yards and led the Panthers in rushing, with 64 yards on 12 carries. He scored on runs of 24 and 1 yard, and on a 15-yard pass from Goad.
The Panthers had trouble getting on the scoreboard in their first three games; they scored just two touchdowns.
That wasn’t the case against the Indians (1-3), who lost their second straight.
Harbach last was a head coach at Lancaster Catholic until 2017, when he resigned after 16 seasons, 139 victories, two PIAA titles and four district titles.
Senior Kyle Spotts led the Panthers with eight tackles; Michael Krishock and Jayden Gulley each had seven tackles.
Schuylkill Valley hosts Kutztown next week.
