Conrad Weiser offensive coordinator Brett Skovera says the term “dual-threat quarterback” if often over-used — but not in Logan Klitsch’s case.
“He’s a true definition,” Skovera said.
The 6-3, 190-pound senior put that on full display Friday, throwing three touchdown passes and running for four scores in the 52-38 win over visiting Fleetwood.
After completing 15-of-19 passes for 316 yards and rushing 19 times for 145 yards Klitsch is the Wyomissing Physical Therapy Offensive Player of the Week.

“Really an impressive performance tonight,” said Scouts coach Alan Moyer. “Logan plays at such a high level, clearly showing his dual-threat ability.”
Klitsch become the program’s all-time passing leader three days after he committed to play at Dartmouth College. He has thrown for 3,743 yards, topping the record of 3,682 set by Jim Debeic.
He has thrown for a Berks-leading 1,038 yards, his third straight 1,000-yard season, tying a program record established by Tom Wenrich.
Earlier this season he broke the career record for touchdown passes, previously established by Tyler Hoss at 29; Klitsch has 33.
He also owns the program record for 200-yard passing games, at nine. The previous record was four; he’s had four in four games this season.
His 316-yard performance was just 14 shy of the program single-game best.
Klitsch was named Offensive Back of the Year in Section 2 of the Berks Football League and the All-Berks quarterback after a spectacular junior season that saw him pass for 1,330 yards and 15 TDs in seven games.
He was the Scouts’ leading rusher and scored a team-high 10 TDs.
He is again the Scouts’ leading rusher and scorer; his 11 TDs are topped in Berks only by Nick Singleton’s 16.
