Albright and Alvernia have each earned one first-team selection on the Middle Atlantic Conference all-conference team.

Junior offensive lineman Joseph Kornahrens represents Alvernia on the first team; senior linebacker Sam Viera represents Albright.
Schuylkill Valley grad Shane Newell, a junior offensive lineman at Delaware Valley, was named to the MAC first team. The 6-3, 275-pound linemen helped his team lead the league in rushing.
Logan Grauer, a senior from Schuylkill Valley, earned honor mention selection as a special teams player for Lebanon Valley.
Gov. Mifflin grad Sam Mueller, a senior at Dickinson, was selected for the Centennial Conference’s 10-member All-Sportsmanship team. Mueller was also an honorable mention selection at offensiver tackle.

Mueller was a team captain for the Red Devils and anchored the offensive line.
Alvernia had four second-team picks: Graduate student running back EJ Lee, graduate student wide receiver Neeko Scurlock, senior linebacker Tajon Whiten and sophomore linebacker Taron Gale.
Albright senior defensive lineman Ryan Rapp was selected for the second team.
Kornahrens led an offensive line that helped the Lions rush for over 1,000 yards. Kornahrens also led Alvernia’s pass protection, which allowed the Golden Wolves to pass for 1,746 yards.

Viera is Albright’s career tackles lead with 385. He led the MAC in tackles with 121. That total is 20 more than the next closest tackler. Viera had 10 or more tackles in eight of the 10 games played this year. Viera was a second-team pick in 2019.
