Sophomore Laila Jones scored 24 points to lead Wilson past Exeter 51-30 Thursday night in a battle of Berks Girls League division leaders in West Lawn.
Jones had 17 of her game-high point total in the second half as the Berks I-leading Bulldogs outscored the Berks II-leading Eagles by 13 points.

Jones, the league’s third leading scorer at 17.3 per game, outdueled Exeter scoring dynamo Grace Reedy, who leads the league at a 21.5 clip.
Reedy led the Eagles (4-5, 11-7) with 18 points, with 14 coming in the second half.
The Bulldogs (9-0, 17-1) have won 10 games in a row after falling to Dallastown two days after Christmas.
They continue to inch closer to their first division title since 2014, when they won their third straight BCIAA title and second straight District 3 title.
Wilson leads Reading High (6-2) and Berks Catholic (5-2) in the division and wraps up league and regular season play against Muhlenberg, the Red Knights, and Gov. Mifflin in the coming weeks.
Wilson and Wyomissing are competing for the top seed in the BCIAA playoffs by virtue of power ranking; the Bulldogs (.790) held the advantage over the Spartans (.748) as of late Thursday.
Wilson is currently second in the District 3 Class 6A power rankings behind Northeastern (.796). Lancaster Catholic (.804) in 3A and York Suburban (.798) in 5A are the only other teams in District 3 to have a higher power ranking than the Bulldogs.
