Jon Ramsey, Cameron Jones highlight LL Section 1 all-league team

Wilson’s Jon Ramsey was named Outstanding Lineman in Section 1 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League and teammate Cameron Jones was the lone three-way pick on the all-league team, announced Tuesday night at the annual league banquet in Mount Gretna.

Ramsey, a 6-2, 220-pound senior, was also named Offensive Lineman of the Year, as well as a first-team pick at guard and defensive end. Jones, a 5-11, 175-pound junior, was also named Defensive Back of the Year.

The Section 1 champion Bulldogs landed 12 first-team selections, more than any other team. Manheim Township was next with eight first-team selections.

Earning all-league honors on offense for Wilson were senior running back Jadyn Jones, senior wide receiver TJ Flite, freshman tight end Brady Kline, senior center Jack Durning, sophomore tackle Jack Dendall and Cameron Jones, picked at both Athlete and kick returner.

Dominic Memmo

The Bulldogs had four first-team picks on defense: senior Dominic Memmo, interior line; Flite, outside linebacker; Cameron Jones, defensive back; and Ramsey.

Aadyn Richards of Cedar Crest was named Outstanding Back and Linebacker of the Year. Anthony Ivey of Manheim Township was Wide Receiver of the Year. Hempfield quarterback Cam Harbaugh was Offensive Back of the Year. Manheim Township end Jack Roache was Defensive Lineman of the Year.

There are four repeat picks: Jadyn Jones at running back, Ivey at wide receiver, Penn Manor guard Jordan Martin and Penn Manor defensive back Erik Hinkle.

There are four two-way picks: Richards, at running back and inside linebacker; Flite, at wide receiver and outside linebacker; Ramsey, at guard and defensive end; and Manheim Township’s Matt O’Gorman, at placekicker and punter.

Jadyn Jones

In Section 2, Cocalico’s Anthony Bourassa was named Outstanding Back and Offensive Back of the Year and Connor Smith of Solanco was named Outstanding Lineman.

In Section 3, Nick Del Grande was named Outstanding Lineman; Outstanding Back was shared by Berkely Wagner of Lampeter-Strasburg and Andre Weidman of Ephrata.

In Section 4, Robert Footman of Columbia was named Outstanding Back and Cody Sky of Elco was named Outstanding Lineman.

The teams were selected in voting by the respective coaches in each of the four sections.
