Perfect games in baseball are rare.
Perfect days? Even rarer.
Berks Baseball League teams had the rarest of days Saturday, going 6-for-6 in their non-league games. Gov. Mifflin, Wilson, Muhlenberg and Twin Valley each won once and Kutztown won twice.
Several came in dramatic fashion.
At Emmaus, Twin Valley scored five times in the seventh to rally for an 8-7 victory. The Raiders (2-3) trailed 7-3 entering their final at-bat.
Freshman Kooper Zdimal had three hits and two RBIs and senior Kannon Zdimal had two hits and two RBIs. Josh Zolty had two hits and scored twice.

At Nazareth, Wilson gave up a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh to allow the Blue Eagles to tie it. Both teams scored once in the eighth. The Bulldogs (4-2) scored four times in the ninth to win 8-4.
Nick Fiorini had two hits and two RBIs and Ryan Sekulski had a pair of RBIs for the Bulldogs.
Defending Berks League champ Muhlenberg, which opened the season with a pair of losses, recorded its second straight 7-0 win, this one against visiting Pottsville. The Muhls (2-2) won 7-0 at Exeter on Wednesday.
Drew Fidler, Josh Smeltzer and Derek Wilson combined on a four-hitter for the Muhls, with nine strikeouts. Fidler went the first four to pick up the win.
The Muhls had just six hits in the game, all singles, but made the most of them by stealing nine bases; they were caught just once. Cam Burr stole three bases. Dalton Follweiler stole two bases and scored two runs.
Gov. Mifflin (7-1) continued to pound the opposition, beating visiting Boyertown 10-0 in five innings. The Mustangs have won six straight and have scored 10 or more runs in five straight.
Ethan Grim struck out eight over four scoreless innings and Travis Jenkins, Alexander Velez and Bryce Detwiler each had two hits.
Kutztown, playing at the New Oxford Tournament, beat Delone Catholic 9-1 in the morning and New Oxford 5-1 in the afternoon. The Cougars improved to 6-2 with their fourth straight win.
Bryce Schafer had two hits, scored two runs, and drove in two runs in the first game; he had two more RBIs in the second game. Nick Hugo homered in the win over Delone.
