Gov. Mifflin defeated Lebanon 56-18 in a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 2 football game Friday night at Shillington, handing the Cedars their 40th straight loss.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Mustangs (2-2, 4-4) and keeps alives hopes for a winning season and a postseason berth. They end the season against Elizabethtown (2-6) and Ephrata (4-4).
Reese Hohl sparked the Mustangs with a Pick-Six and a 94-yard touchdown catch, the longest in program history. Hohl broke the record of 91, set by Jeff Novik in 1976.

Lebanon’s Malachi Briddell hauled in TD passes of 56 and 45 yards from Brandyn Castro and finished with seven catches for 180 yards.
But the Cedars (0-4, 0-8) turned the ball over three times and allowed Mifflin to rush for more than 365 yards.
The Mustangs scored the first 35 points of the first half before the Cedars’ offense began to click. Lebron Leaf ran for touchdowns from 49, 11 and 18 yards out to lead the Mustangs. Leaf rushed for 167 yards on seven carries.
Mifflin had a pair of defensive scores, including a Pick-Six by Dan Bonfadini.
Pletz passed for 132 yards.
