Last meeting: The Raiders stunned the Indians with three scores in a 23-second span, erasing an early deficit before pulling away for a 47-19 victory last year in a district quarterfinal at Susquehanna Township. The Raiders got a 31-yard pass from Evan Myers to Drew Engle with 1:03 left in the first quarter to take their first lead. The Indians fumbled the ensuing kickoff into the end zone for a safety. Ben Grundy took the resulting free kick back 66 yards for a TD and 23-7 lead with 40 seconds remaining in the quarter. The game marked a triumphant return for Engle, who had missed the final nine games of the regular season with a broken collarbone. He rushed for 122 yards and scored three TDs. Township QB Torrin Evans threw for 179 yards and 3 TDs.

Indians update: Scored on the final play of the game to stun Wyomissing 37-35 in semifinals, matching program record for victories in a season. . . QB Torin Evans, who threw the game-winning pass to Josh Nengite as time expired, completed 17-of-23 for 192 yards and 4 TDs. . . Evans, one of seven ’Hanna players with Division I offers, has thrown for 2,684 yards and 36 TDs. . . Evans, who has an offer from Akron, had thrown just 3 interceptions in first 11 games before being picked off twice by the Spartans. . . Evans also leads team in rushing, with 885 yards and 12 TDs; he ran for 144 yards against Wyomissing, his fifth game of  100 or more yards rushing. . . WR/LB Jarrett Kern, who has an offer from Akron, is considered by coach Joe Headen to be the glue of the team.
