Week 2: Fearless Friday Football Forecast

Muhlenberg pulled off the Week 1 stunner in Berks football, knocking off Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 5 favorite Schuylkill Valley.
The Muhls, coming off a one-win season, also wiped out the Fearless Forecasters, each of whom picked against them.
Not this week: The Muhls are the 11-to-1 favorite to beat rival Reading High, according to the Forecasters.
Three other teams garned all 12 votes this week: Exeter, Schuylkill Valley and — somewhat surprisingly, considering the competition — Wyomissing.
The Forecasters have turned their backs on Week 1 winners Gov. Mifflin and Wilson; the consensus says both the Mustangs and Bulldogs fall to .500.
The toughest pick of the week: Manheim Township at Central York in a battle of top District 3 Class 6A contenders. The Forecasters are evenly split on that one, 6-6.
Each week, MikeDragoSports.com staff writers, photographers and contributors, along with Mike Gross and Jeff Reinhart of football partner LNP/Lancasteronline, and Bruce Badgley of Mike Drago Sports Livestream, will pick all the Berks games, along with other selected Lancaster-Lebanon League games.
We’ll keep standings and the Forecaster with the most points at the end of the season will get a (relatively) big prize!
Each correct pick earns one point; if a Forecaster “doubles down” on a Berks team and is correct he gets two points. Each Fearless Forecaster can “down double” on a team only once during the regular season (and once again during the postseason).
