Twin Valley put it all on the line this season.
The Raiders had flashy running backs and an efficient, dual-threat quarterback but their strength was their strength – up front, on the line of scrimmage.

That was reflected in their record-breaking 10-win season and again today when guard Paul McClune and tight end Ean Winchester were named to the Pennsylvania Football Writers’ Class 4A All-State team.
They are the first Twin Valley players selected first-team All-State and just the second and third ever to garner All-State honors. Offensive lineman Matt Kier was a second-team pick in 1998.
The 6-4, 295-pound McClune was an all-league pick in Section 4 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League. He is committed to play at the U.S. Naval Academy.
The 6-2, 265-pound Winchester was an all-league pick at tight end and a driving force in the running game as the H-back. In short-yardage situations the Raiders turned to him and he converted, with 11 touchdowns on 31 carries. He also had 16 receptions. He will wrestle at George Mason.
Together the senior duo helped the Raiders lead the 37-team league in total offense at 448 yards per game and in rushing at 324 yard per game.
They helped the Raiders set a single-game program record with 619 total yards in a season-opening win over Schuylkill Valley and led the way as running backs Drew Engle and Evan Johnson combined to rush for 2,688 yards, the most ever by a Berks running back duo.
Winchester was just as important on the other side of the line, where he was named Section 4 Defensive Lineman of the Year after finishing second on team with 45 solo tackles and first in sacks.
Five other Lancaster-Lebanon League players were selected: Jake Williams of Elco and Zac Hahn, Aaron Enterline, Bode Sipel and Bryce Armold of Manheim Central.
Manheim was one of four teams with four selections, along with Aliquippa, Pope John Paul II and Selinsgrove.
Mike Warfield of PIAA Class 4A champ Aliquippa was named Coach of the Year and Quips running back Tikey Hayes was named co-Player of the Year, along with McDevitt quarterback Stone Saunders.
Hayes, a junior committed to play at Penn State, earned All-State honors for the third team after rushing for 2,159 yards. He has 5,886 career yards and 82 touchdowns.
Saunders, a junior committed to Kentucky, threw for 3,522 yards and 56 touchdowns, with just five interceptions. He became just the sixth Pennsylvania passer to reach 10,000 yards. He was the Class 4A Player of the Year as a sophomore.
