Twin Valley’s Drew Engle leads Section 3 in rushing with 730 yards; teammate Evan Johnson is second with 692.
The Raiders lead the L-L with 1,745 rushing yards. The only other team in the league to rush for over 1,700 yards is Wyomissing.

Gov. Mifflin and Wilson meet tonight for the 67th time, and 12th since the introduction of the Gurski/Linn Trophy, which honors past coaches John Gurski of Wilson and Ray Linn of Gov. Mifflin.
The Bulldogs kept the trophy for the first five years and lead the trophy series 8-3.

Manheim Township is the highest-scoring team in District 3, averaging 48.0 points
Central Clarion is the state’s highest-scoring team at 61.0 per game.
Twin Valley is Berks’ top-scoring team at 43.0 per game.

Lebanon is the only winless team in the Lancaster-Lebanon League half way through the season. The Cedars have lost 27 consecutive games.
They allowed 51 first-half points last week to Exeter in a 51-0 loss. They play Conestoga Valley (4-1) tonight.

Kutztown’s 35-34 win over Hamburg last week snapped a streak of 32 straight losses to Berks opponents. The Cougars had not beaten a Berks foe since 2016, when they edged Fleetwood 21-20 at Tigers Stadium.
