Five Fast Football Facts for Week 10

1

Exeter and Wyomissing can complete perfect regular seasons with wins this weekend.

The Eagles have had three perfect seasons, going 9-0 in 1967 and 1970 and 10-0 in 2015.

The Spartans have recorded 10 perfect seasons and are looking for their fourth straight. Their Berks-record regular season winning streak stands at 34 heading into Saturday’s game against Lampeter-Strasburg.

Twin Valley coach Brett Myers can become the sixth active Berks coach with 100 wins if the Raiders close out the regular season tonight with a win at Hatboro-Horsham.

He is 99-74 record over 15 seasons after a 43-20 win at Daniel Boone last week.

Myers coached at Pottstown for six seasons and Middletown for eight before taking the Raiders’ job this summer.

Exeter’s Matt Bauers got his 100th win earlier this season.

Adam Noll

3

Adam Noll’s 46-yard field goal last week tied the Conrad Weiser record — and set the family record.

Noll’s kick matched the program record set by Jake Roth in 2015.

It topped his brother Matt’s longest field goal, a 45-yarder in 2018. Matt hit three kicks of 40 yards or better for the Scouts. This was Adam’s first 40-yarder.

4

Wilson saw its record Lancaster-Lebanon 69-game league winning streak snapped at Manheim Township in 2017, losing 38-14. It lost a District 3 semifinal there later that season.

The Bulldogs, who head to Landisville tonight, have won each of their last two trips to Township, 31-28 in 2020 and 16-14 in 2018.

Wilson leads the series 38-12-1; Doug Dahms is 15-4 against the Blue Streaks.

5

A win over Columbia tonight will give Hamburg eight regular season wins for just the fourth time in the program’s 54 seasons.

The Hawks set the program record with a 10-1 regular season in 1985 (many teams played 11 regular season games before the start of district playoffs and expanded playoffs).

Hamburg went 8-2-1 in the 1988 regular season and 8-2 in 2006.
