Muhlenberg beat Daniel Boone 19 times in 20 meetings with John Yocum as its head coach but has won just twice in the series since he left following the 2008 season.

The Blazers enter Friday’s meeting with a seven-game winning streak in the series, their longest ever. Before this they had never beaten the Muhls more than twice in a row.

The highlight of the series for the Blazers came in 2019 when Tanner Vanderslice set the Berks rushing record with 403 yards.

Twin Valley has the top-ranked offense in the 37-team Lancaster-Lebanon League, averaging 560 yards per game – more than 100 yards greater than the No. 2 team (Wyomissing).

The Raiders have rushed for 909 yards in two games. Junior Evan Johnson has rushed for 436 yards, second-most in the league; sophomore Drew Engle has rushed for 369, third-most. (Elco’s Jake Williams leads with 554.)

Twin Valley set a program record in the season-opener against Schuylkill Valley with 619 total yards.

Wyomissing has won each of its four regular season meetings against Trinity, but the Shamrocks took 2-of-3 playoffs meetings, including one in the District 3 Class AA title game in 2010.

The teams meet Friday night in Camp Hill.

The Spartans won 35-14 last season at the A-Field; the Shamrocks’ last win in the series came in 2010.

Hamburg’s Tyler Shuey.

Hamburg’s Tyler Shuey is the Lancaster-Lebanon League’s leading passer, with 659 yards in two games. His seven touchdown throws are second in the league to Manheim Township’s Hayden Johnson, who has thrown eight.

Johnson, who has completed 77 percent of his passes without an interception, is the league’s top-rated passer.

Shuey, who has completed 51 percent of his passes with one interception, is second.

Bruce Harbach needs two wins to reach 150 in his career.

The Wilson grad won 139 games over 16 seasons at Lancaster Catholic before taking over at Schuylkill Valley in 2021.

He earned win No. 148 last week with a 22-19 victory over Perkiomen Valley.
