Week 1: Fearless Friday Football Forecast (updated with results)
Here it is, the much anticpated debut of the “Fearless Friday Football Forecast.”
MikeDragoSports.com staff writers and photographers, along with Jeff Reinhart of LNP/Lancasteronline, will pick the games each week, we’ll keep standings and the Forecaster with the most points at the end of the season will get a big prize! Each correct pick earns one point; if the Forecaster “doubles down” and is correct, he gets two points.
There are a number of clean sweeps on the board — for Exeter, Gov. Mifflin, Fleetwood, Berks Catholic and Wyomissing. The closest match-up of opening night is Twin Valley at Schuylkill Valley; our Forecasters give the Raiders an 8-5 edge.
Our panel is most certain about Fleetwood; four Forecasters doubled down on the Tigers. (Forecasters may double down on a team just once during the regular season.)
