District semifinal loss knocks Twin Valley out of state Top 10; Wyo remains No. 2

A lopsided loss in the District 3 Class 4A semifinals dropped Twin Valley out of the PennLive.com Top 10 just one week after the Raiders had moved up to No. 10 in the state.
The Raiders ended their season at 10-2, the best in program history, and listed as a Team To Watch in Class 4A.
Wyomissing remained No. 2 in the state after improving to 11-1 with a win over West Perry in the District 3 Class 3A championship game. The Spartans’ decisive 42-14 win knocked the Mustangs out of the Top 10.
Danville, Wyomissing’s opponent this week in a state quarterfinal, moved up one spot, to No. 4.
