Quotable: “We know how important things are and at this time of year one mistake can cost you everything you’ve worked for the entire year, for some kids for three or four years. We felt we that we underachieved last year; we felt we should’ve been able to do a little bit more. There’s a sense of urgency with this group.” – Eagles coach Matt Bauer.

Winner plays: At No. 1 New Oxford (10-0), Nov. 8, in district quarterfinal.

Championship: Nov. 22 or 23, at a neutral site.
